GPU and Multithreaded ClothWrapDeformer for Maya

ClothWrapDeformer is a GPU and Multithreaded custom wrap deformer for Autodesk Maya designed to preserve volume during deformation when high resolution mesh is driven by low resolution. The plugin can be used for various CFX pipeline such as Cloth simulation, Rigging and Hair setup. Version 3 adds support to curves wrap on driver mesh.



Mr. X VFX and Fabio Bonvicini used “Cloth Wrap Deformer” on Hellboy 2019 hero character. The perforance and result was excellent compared to maya wrap deformer.  
 



ClothWrapDeformer 3.0 adds support to wrap curves on mesh.
 

This test scene is related to a post on Autodesk community where "Proximity Wrap" was unable to provide decent result in comparison to ClothWrapDeformer.

Massive Simulation - Dragon (Maya, Motionbuilder, Massive)


Quick Massive Crowd Simulation with quadruped. I bought those motion from mixamo.com, the only problem is that the skeleton (joint) isn't oriented in Y axis as primary axis and this will not work properly with Massive IK and also can make problem when using vision that require positive Z axis. I had to figure the joint orientation and re-target back the motion in Motionbuilder then export as ASF/AMC to Massive.

Massive Exporter Tool UI houdini R&D - Python - hou module and PyQt - Update



Massive Exporter UI in progress using python (hou.Module) and PyQt. Massive Exporter let you going easy from Houdini, Maya or 3ds max to Massive. The propose of Massive UI body building clone is to give any straight forward pipeline, if you've organized body building inside Houdini, Maya or 3ds Max you can get it exactly the same into Massive. Massive Exporter tool will output massive files (.cdl and .mas) from 3d packages that can be directly loaded into Massive.
